ICSC Quran School is Hiring

1. Prior formal Islamic Education is an asset
2. Memorized atleast 10 Ajza’a
3. 1-2 years teaching experience
4. Oral/written Proficiency and fluency in the English Lanugage is a must.
5. Holds a high standard of Tajweed for himself/herself
6. Demonstrated ability to teach students to recite with a high standard of Tajweed
7. Has sound knowledge of basic Islamic principles and practice
8. Able to work independently within a team
9. Demonstrate a sincere desire to aide all students
10. Passionate about teaching Islam/Quran to children
11. Passionate about empowering the Muslim Communities in Calgary
12. Upstanding character and exemplifies the Prophetic teachings in his/her mannerisms
13. Is able to teach in an educational yet fun manner
14. Applicant must be available Saturday & Sunday (morning to 1:00 PM) and able to provide vulnerable sectors check
15. They must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
