ICSC is pleased to announce that the 2022/2023 Weekend Qur’an School classes for 2nd semester resumes from January 14, 2023.
The School management will be organizing an online session for parents information regarding the second semester, on Wednesday January 11, 2023, 7:00PM. Use this LINK to Join.
Orienttion will take place on the first day of classes and it is recommended that students and parents both be in attendance.
Imam Iqbal Gora will continue advising on the curriculum to make sure that it is in line with current requirements.
Our team of dedicated teachers are committed to excellence and have an extensive background in Tajweed and Islamic education.

Classes are held every Saturday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Quran School Levels
For the absolute beginner with limited or no prior Qur’an/Arabic experience.
Upon completion students should be able to identify huroof (letters) and harakaat (diacritical marks) and gain mastery of the correct pronunciation of letters from the proper makhraj (exit point).
Coursebooks: How to read al Qur’an / Noorani Qai’da
For the student that can read Qur’an with demonstrated limited knowledge of Tajweed.
Intermediate students will study the theoretical and practical application of Tajweed. Students will use their acquired knowledge to memorize Surat ul Fatihah and the last ten surahs of the Qur’an. The students will move on to reading the last juz of the Qur’an to their teacher.
Coursebooks: Murshid ul Qari/ Qur’an ul Kareem/ Reach the Goal via Tajweed Rules
For the advanced student that has demonstrated correct reading of the Qur’an with a good standard of Tajweed.
Advanced students will commence with memorization of the Qur’an; continuing with the 30th Chapter while revising the previous memorized surahs, as well as learning translation of Short Surahs.

Fees:
Keeping in line with current trends for such education as well as employing experienced teachers and best in class education, ICSC has revised the fee structure for the Quran School
$50/month for 1 kid
$80/month for 2 kids
$100/month for 3 kids
$125/month for 4 kids
*Seats are limited and admission will be granted on first come first serve basis
*Tax receipts are issued for all fees paid for Quran School
*Minimum age requirement is 5+ years old
