Assalam-u-Alaikum.! Dear Muslims of South Calgary,

We would like to inform you that our beloved Imam Hassan Shuaib, due to personal reasons, is taking a temporary leave of absence from his duties at the Islamic Center of South Calgary, until December 2023, effective immediately.

This leave is necessary to allow him to complete his PhD program, a significant academic milestone in his life and contribution to Islamic literature. We fully support his pursuit of knowledge and commend his dedication to both his academic and

spiritual responsibilities.

In his absence, we will continue offering all essential religious services and programs continue without interruption. Our dedicated team of volunteers will be available to lead prayers and conduct programs during this period.

We look forward to reuniting with Imam Hassan Shuaib at the end of his leave, and we are confident that he will return with even more knowledge and wisdom to benefit our community.
